Senior Foil

The senior foil competition is held in December of each year and is the clubs most hotly contested competition. It is divided into a Ladies and Men's competition open to everyone in the club over the age of 13 on 1 January of that year. Robert and Adrian completed the year with consistency, achieving joint third in all three weapons. Ian fought several hard fights to get to the final only to be denied first by Malcolm in an exciting 15-7 finish. In the ladies there was a hotly contested poule unique followed by several exciting DE matches. The final produced a shock result, with Hannah defeating the number one seed (15-9), Rhiannon, to win the Ladies foil for a second year in a row.
