Riders of Rohan By borrowing so heavily from historical imagery Peter Jackson did 1/72 fans a huge favour. These Rohanese are simply mounted Vikings (available from Tumbling Dice (96 Sandfield Road, Nottingham, NG5 6QJ). Cloaks have been added with a small piece of green stuff and then a Riders paint scheme applied.

Fire Signal!

Across the Westerland a series of fire signals burn night and day. In the event of an Orc attack the signals are extinguished to warn other settlements. A band of Orcs have seized this signal to try and prevent the warning, and the local garrison attempts to dislodge them. The human figures are from Italeri's set of Crusaders.
